my dog might have cancer

:(

so i walk into my house today and i look down at this dog...and i ask my mom.... who's dog is this?

hahahaha it turns out it's mine...my dog digby went in for a haircut and he looks COMPLETELY different...

anyways...i guess they found this weird bump on him, so they drained it, and they're waiting for test results cause it might be cancer.

my dog is a freakin healthy dog.

now im scared. i love my digby.

my dog had the same sorta thing.. it was a weird lump and they got rid of it. turned out it wasn't cancer, but then when they were cleaning her teeth the same day they found a cancerous lump on her lip. but they got rid of it, and now she's fine =) don't worry too much! if they catch it early and get rid of it, there's a good chance your dog will be fine..

the lump is on the side, above his front leg...

i doubt its cancerous...i mean wouldnt he be in pain? and wouldnt it hurt if i touched it?
i rubbed over it accidentally and he didnt even flinch

I'm sorry to hear that hun. But everyones right, it is most likely not cancerous. My dog has a few lumps and they are simply fat deposit thingy's. Nothing life threatening, and even if it is, and its caught early, they can easily cut it off and doggy should be fine :)

could just be a cyst that needs to be removed. it's quite common for dogs to get those as they get older. my dog has had one before, and once they're drained they're no problem. but they usually test them all for cancer anyways, just to be sure.
