shitty summer, no car
ok this is starting to piss me off alot my mom always complains "y u taking the car out for??" or "u dont need the car" even "forget it i need it"
so then i go to her y dont u let ME buy a car???? she says " go ask your father " ok then i do i ask my dad he says "go see how much money u have" ok far enough i find out i have about in the range of 9000 to approx 10000 dollars of my own money in the bank..... what im trying to get at here is that my mom is screwing up my summer again and im fucking tired of it funny thing though since i work at white spot and she wants me to work there during the week but how the hell am i gonna get to work??? im in coquitlam and work is in burnaby she expects me to wake up at 7am to drive her down to the westcoast express station so i can go to work at 4pm????? ahhh no.... now with my 10000 dollars sittin in the bank my mom expects me to buy a brand new car.....fat fucking chance thats gonna happen she believes that all used car are gonna break down the next day..... she thinks that the only good car is a new car... fuck im sick of this shit ive been given so many offers for nice cars within my price range but my mom says "go ask your father" and when i do he says " go ask your mother " or " thats nice " fuck im sick of all this shit can ne of u concur??

I think what's worse is: Shitty summer, HAVE A CAR, but no FUCKING LISENCE!!!!
That's just... evil. That's like, being a big fat starving millionaire, but there are no restaurants open. Kills me everytime I want to go out! I say just buy a car, a car you want! Do you need parental consent or something?

I hear ya Addy!! I have a car, but I don't have a license. I guess I can't complain though, cause it's my own fault for not getting my license. Ahhh...I at least want it by my 18th b-day, meaning I have to start right now. I'm lucky that my parents won't let me drive unless I take YD. That way I can get my license within 3 months.

ahhh...i have the same feelings..i have my lisence but no car..it sucks..i can sumtimes steal a car from sumone in the family..but thats sumtiems risky...and yeah...i dunno..i wish i had a flying carpet or i could teletransport!!..

Honestly I'd rather save up and get a new car then get a used one that will break down. alot of the used cars out there within that price range aren't that worth it to buy...they have so many clicks on them ... just look at the bigger picture. Get an Echo... LOL...

echo??? hahahahhahaha give me a break those are the uglyest cars ever made next to the ford focus but hey if u have one im sorry its just my opinion the thing is the car i want i wont be able to afford it now so i go for an older modle yeah mazda mx6 i can get a 94 for 10gs and it only has like 105k on it so i dont think that i would be spending like 30gs on a new mx6

If you're juss looking for basic transportation, then used cars are where its at. Get an 80's Toyata Tercel. Or any old Toyota for that matter. Those things run forever. My first car was an '84 Tercel and it had 400 000+ km's on it before I gave it to my cousin. We had it since new and it never broke, ever. Well, the tranny went, but that was at almost 400 000 km's. We swapped in a 5-speed after that and the highway mileage was incredible. I used to get 600 k's to the tank and it cost less that $20 bux to fill. Yes, that was a couple years ago when gas was 49.9, but whatever. And that was after I yanked the carb and pulled it apart. Granted, I didn't know what the fuck I was doing, but I managed to get the carb back on and the car was runing waaay rich after that. Still got over 500 k's to the tank after that, black smoke and all.
My buddy had a matching '85 in high school and he put 50 000 trouble free km's on it during the year he had it. Didn't change the oil once. Then there's my other buddy who recently picked and '86 for the low, low price of 200 bux. He has had it since October of last year and does absolutely no maintenance whatsoever on it. He has put almost 50 000 k on it and gets almost 600k to the tank with the throttle to the wood in rush hour traffic. Every day. Trust me, he beats the living shit out of this thing. Every single day. It just comes back for more. I'm surprised the engine hasn't seized, the oil hasn't been changed since he bought it. I've had a lot of experience with these cars and they have been good to me. You're talking to a guy who drove his Tercel 100kms with no water pump or alternator with a shitload of steam coming out the hood, just to pass aircare the next day. Did I mention that I forgot to tighten the oil pan drain bolt so 3/4's of the oil leaked out onto the ground??? If you need a beater, Tercels are where it's at. -Dwight:Somatic:
