Thanks.

I am reconsidering why I'm taking what I am, because, as much as I wanted before to become a teacher...my mindset has changed a bit. I'd like to actually get into something w/ advertisements or the media. Trying out 2 communications classes next semester. Or I might just resort to doing a bit of transcribing for a while...

^^ Wow, that's amazing! I have 3 classes and I have to go up 4 days a week!

I'm taking my breadth right now, cuz I'm getting ahead of myself in my upper level English classes...and behind in my electives. I took Cmns 110 and 130, and Kinesiology (I hate myself for this one...all other classes clashed w/the other 2 courses!)...I don't remember what it is, but it's on Human nutrition...health issues.

Man, I thought I had a crappy registration date... :kam:

What'd you take?

Hahhaha they must give ppl on academic probation the last couple of days for registration! lol!

If you're taking kin. 140(contemporary health issues) with Stephen Brown, I took it last semester and it was such a good class!! Really interesting and he was a really good prof.

I'm taking english 204, english 206, history 101(YUCK!), and psych 106 which i'm really excited to take!!

:)

My tuition for sept-dec comes to a whopping $2100. =(
Then from jan-april it's $1900.
And my program also requires me to take summer semester, so may-july comes to another $2000.
So that's $6000 for tuition this year. That doesn't include books, my uniform and other supplies I need to buy for September.

I hope the $3500 bursary I applied for comes through...=/

My tuition will be $2030 per semester for 2 years. I have 9 classes my first semester. 9 the second I think, plus a practicum...same as the second year. That's over $8000 and doesn't include my practicum if I'm sent away to do it, or my books, supplies, mini-disc player and discs that I'll need, tape reels I'll need, etc. But in 2 years it will be worth it. THANK YOU STUDENT LOANS (this is a pre-thanks...I still haven't heard back from them yet.)

you guys do realize many medical students, especially ones in the states, come out of school with 6 figure loans?

<20 grand is nothing. you can pay that off in a couple of years without breaking a sweat.
