I desgined a pipe stand.

On it there is a pipe welded to the bottom, so that way it can be put into the ground.

I say on the desgin, pipe to be welded. 1 1/4"

I get a phone call today.

"what do you want the welded part made out of?"

"does it mater... It's just holding it up."

Gives me two choices.

"So... use any of them."

"but choice number one can't be welded."

THEN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU ASKING ME IF I WANT THAT ONE WELDED TOO THE FUCKING BOTTOM OF THE STAND!!!!!

Im in a metal art class and im gonna make some phat bowls for some friends.

Im gonna make a couple pipes too : )

as i recall i tried making pipes outta solid copper, alluminum, and brass......wont work man u need a tight fit from the bowl to the pipe i never could get that tight fit

but if u wanna try use aluminum it works the best solid alluminum that is
drill a 3/16 hole threw the miterial then drill the hole bigger every time u make a pass......drill a nother 3/16 hole on one end of the meteral and thread it.....then be creative with the bowl i garuntee that u will never get a tight fit around the pipe and the bowl it will always have a lil crack or hole......welding it too will leave holes
try a steel one and arc weld it that might works
