People who treat yuor friendship like trash

You know those friends that you invest so much time into who just end up kicking you in the ass or treating you like trash? Ya...SO cut. Sorry but usually when someone tries to be nice it's usually civil to act like they EXIST. For fucks sake. pisses me off. I'm just going to stop being outwardly happy...so far all it's earned me is people thinking I'm either gay or really lame. Fine...no more niceties.

ehh the worst is when you got a bad friend, but you've known em for so long that you can't just walk away....

i was lucky to have my ex bestfriend to walk on me!

i've still got a couple of 'bad' friends that still hang around, they're good people, just doing bad things...i keep them around hoping they'd grow up, but it's tkaing sooooooo long :(

It sucks that there are people out there who are too selfish to place value in what is one of the few truly good things in life. Those types are happy with just taking as much as they can and giving nothing in return and really, who needs 'em? Hopefully one day they will take inventory of their life and realize what they are lacking. Or maybe they'll just die alone.

Either way Josh, that's no reason to change the way you are. It's good seeing someone who always has a smile on their face. That's far too rare nowadays.

I know what you mean. I talk to alot of people, but not alot of people i hang out with. I have a few close friends. There good guys. Which is nice.
I kinda put up a wall sometimes, like I'll talk to people and stuff...but thats as far as it goes.
Just keep being a good friend to those ones that you can count as real "friends" Thats all I can say. Fuck everyone else.
How do you get more friends though? How can you tell those people from the ones that are going to treat you well?
Its hard and it sucks.

Yah i know that feeling. trying to be someones friend. They don't tell you that you are calling them to much. but they still invite you along to do things with them even when they don't want to so that they don't hurt your feelings (so you think everything is fine) then they blow up in your face for wanting to hang out with them to much. but they never told you so you could stop.
I love it when you think someone is like a really good friend and then they tell you you have ruined everything for them and that they want you to just back the fuck off and leave them alone.

I dont know if thats the same as what you are going through. but i know what its like to put a lot of effort into a friendship that the other person just doesnt feel like putting anything into.
