Two of my friends (guys) have recently taken up with ladies. Their lives have been totally turned upside down! One has been dumped, and the other now realizes he is the "backup" boyfriend to a girl who is trying to restart a thing with an ex (which was obvious from the beginning).
What a mess! And such a repetition of old patterns. They were "better off alone." It is true though, that many people want to have a relationship going at all times, good or bad, and singleness is something that is intolerable for them. I think its a bit lame when ppl need a boyfriend or girlfriend @ all times. I'd definatley agree about looking is not the way to find someone its just never seemed to work for anyone for some reason.
bahaha i would say it depends on how good u can kick it ,lots of ppl look at ppl in relationships as a challenge

k fuck for the record im not going out looking or hunting its not the way to go i know, what im saying for a while now good things seem to come along which IS by not looking, then they are soon not so good because they are seeing someone or already have a boyfriend... im not like looking for a girlfirned at all times i dont need one im saying when a girl comes along who i like theres no possibility

Single is so liberating, so comfortable, no one to answer to, no one to make time for, no one to impress... You don't have to avert your eyes when some one's making eyes at you, and you can go out have fun and play the game without ending up with obligations. Every day is an oppurtunity to meet some one new if you really wanted to, and every one is a potential mate. No lame accusations of unfaithfulness, no jealousy and no petty arguments. No emotional rollercoasters.
I love being single cause it's given me more of an oppurtunity to focus on the things that really matter to me. Hanging out with the ladies is the most refreshing thing ever ;)
