False advertisements...

I hate how they advertise on tv and yet what their advertising is only for US.

Eg. Dominos.

They say get 2 for 1 for like $8 (thats a damn good deal) so we called Dominos and they said that the advertising isnt for Canada. wtf?

Then why do they advertise on Canadian television?

Anyone else notice this?>

they aren't advertising to canadians, we just happen to be watching american channels.

not all channels you see on canadian television are actually canadian stations, like fox, nbc, etc. you get their feeds, so you get the american channels [hence commercials for things like target, jc penny, macy's, etc]

if you are watching a canadian channel, and they may just be borrowing the feed from the american channel since they're playing the same show. stations do it all the time, which is why you see the same show/commercials on like 2 or more different channels.

like i said, you were probably watching a canadian channel that was borrowing an american feed, therefore you get american commercials.

i explained it all in my other post..
