It just ain't fair.. i guess it's just the way things are. some people are better than things than others..

but what I'm talkin bout here is the fact that it takes me SOOOOOOOOo long to study.. it makes me SOOOOO irritated.. most people only study like an hour for a stupid highschool test.., ME? I study for 6 hours and PLUS and sometimes some other ppl STILL seem to have a better grasp of things than I do, even if they only studied for like 2 hours or sumpthin..

I DO listen in class.. but i get distracted sometimes.. i guess i kinda have a low attention span...

the reason why it takes me 6+ hours is cuz I cant frikkin concentrate for a long time.. and because sometimes I'm just reaidng the material until I realize that NONE of it is getting through my head.. I'm just reading the words and not comprehending a single thing about that subject...
In order for me to learn things I have to re-write them in note form and organize them in order to organize my thoughts. that takes a couple of hours to do, then I need to review my notes..

Today we had a test on a 1 page handout my teacher gave us. it was simply a 12 mark multiple choice quiz but I wanted to do real good so I studied for a stupid quiz for hmm, 4 hours? Come quiz time, i still am a lil iffy bout wut I know, and I get a 8/12 while my friend who studied one class before the test for justa lil bit, and had to only read through it got an 11/12..

I think i just have really LOW attention span.. everything I've ver done I've quit... because I got bored real easily.. and this becomes a big problem because everything is always on and off for me...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH............. I'm so mad. maybe another thing is because i'm surrounded in smart ass friends who have really organized lifestyles.. Maybe that's why I feel like an outcast and a weirdo cuz I take 5 times longer to study than them. literally..

aww...yok..about the test..if ur mentioning jenny..(cuz i remember u telling her there was a test)..its jenny..thats enuf said...and as for u beign surrounded by smart ass friends...*waves hands*..hehe..i'm not in ne of ur classes huh?..but yoko..u are working harder this year..i know u are..ur trying and ur doin fine..no worries ok??..the effort eventually pays off..as for our smart friends..their just lucky~

as for short attention spans..well..i hate when ur talking to sumone and then they all of a sudden like don't know wut ur talking about..like their attention span is so short u can's even talk to them about nethign...
or as for me..i have a short one if i have no interest in the thingy..tis weird..usually..well..yeah..as for studying..i haven't studied yet this year..which i should do..and for hwk..i usually do it when i get trapped in study block..if ur study block is block A..go to study tomorrow..cuz yeah..we get our go cards!

yeah.. jenny man... i have nothing against HER don't get me wrong. i'm just pissed off at the simple fact that I studied SOOO hard for that.. hoping I'd do good..

and y'know...

but i still think that overall, i have pretty short attention span.. which sucks... rarghh.. but i guess learning to live with it, and accepting that fact n working around it is key.. i can't do anything bout it , so i juss gotta live with it, n do my best..

I have an extreme short attention span. When I study, it takes me forever to do it. While reading the textbook, I'll go through a few pages, realise that I didn't absorb any of it, and sometimes even forget what subject I'm studying. hehe...

I've totally noticed too that since I started popping E, my attention span and memory have both decreased a fair bit. After taking a sober break though, I'm feeling a lot better, but I can still tell that there is a difference between my pre-E and post-E days.

ohhhh! u should go see this speaker guy about "advanced learning" or sumthing like that.... I didn't wanna go but my parents had to practically drag me there, but I got a lot outta it! Like how to concentrate, study, get interested, etc.... and he's a really good motivational speaker!

I have the same problem as u tho... if I'm not interested in what I'm learning I get distracted soooo easily and pay no attention to what I'm studying... and I quit too easily.... it's hard when my sister is a fukin genious and actually enjoys studying [she got a friggin 100% in her math provincial... I think her average wuz 94%.. and she wuz takin calculus, physics, bio, math 12, crazy shit like that].. but I guess everyone's brain works differently, I'm more artsy and I don't grasp ideas as easily as her.... maybe u need 2 find a learning style that works better for you... but as long as u put an honest effort, ur hard work will pay off! :)
