ppl stealing trucks

last night i got home from a HORRIBLE 8 hour shift at work, parked my 1999 dodge ram WHICH i just put a brand spankin new $2,000 pioneer flip dvd screen stereo into on top of just getting it out of the shop 2 weeks prior, go to bed and leave for school at 8 10 and guess what? NO TRUCK! fukers apparently took like 6 cars all the way from langley and they were still finding more when i called. plus i call ICBC and they put me on hold for like an hour then when i get a person they're like.. the claim center is now closed. DUH! stupid person when i got teh truck didn't tell me about extra insurance for teh screen either so i'll only get a 1,000$ to spend on a new one and they also got my snowboard boots and 400$ minidisk..!grr should these ppl have better things to do on sunday?! church perhaps..? anyways that is all..

actually it was my bro's truck that then was givin to me cuz he's too poor to pay the payments and we had $2000 from the last claim to spend so we had to get the same DVD screen this time, but he originally paid like 1500 for it in the first place. just this time we didn't get the extra insurance cuz the lady was a dumbass..and no1d if i could take it out everynite and sleep with it under my pillow, i would..

oh yes i know they can just use a flatbed. but if you are putting thousands on electronic extras on your ride, well, no alarm/club/immobilizer/pager is kinda stupid.

your brother is dumb. everyone i know who has a system knows that icbc only covers up to a grand on 'basic' coverage. it's insurance: the more your stuff is worth the more it costs. duh it's how the whole concept of insurance works.

Lady is a dumbass?? How was she supposed to know you had a DVD screen in the truck??

I can't afford the extra insurance to cover my sound equipment in my SUV so I just added extra alarm features and installed in as stealth as possible so thieves just walk by.

The only way they can steal my SUV is if they tow it away. If they wanted it that bad then there is nothing I could have done to prevent it from being stolen anyway.

^i asked the lady about it and she was like oh i dunno about that call ICBC and they needed the reciet and they told me to go back to the autoplan then i had to wait till next month to get it put on or somthing.. and u couldn't even tell it was a dvd screen it didn't say it anywhere and when it was inside w/o the face plate it looks like a standard cd player. plus all my stuff was under the seat and the truck has all tinted windows so it's not like they looked in and decided to take it, like i said the person stole a whole bunch of other cars too, they called this morning and it was found outside a known car thiefs house in cloverdale so it's in the yard being fingerprinted right now with a whole bunch of hockey equipment that they stole from the other cars so i can prolly sue him or at least get my stuff back if he didn't already sell it.. and winston i know wut ur saying about insurance, the extra for the dvd player when i asked today htey said it would make my payment 450$ a month and it's already 375$

For my system I needed to add $8-9000 extra coverage for complete replacement in case of loss.

Since I gangbanged a new Volvo I am at +20%. When it was all added up the coverage was absolutely insane... I think it was an extra $1300 worth of coverage.

Strangely enough it's the nice neighbourhoods that hiprofile thiefs hit up, because they know that people won't be paranoid about their shit and it's probably going to be easier to take.

there is no such thing as harder if we are talking about desired vehicles. usually they will 'specialize' in what they are looking for. they are very good at what they do. unlocking doors and disarming alarms takes no time at all. even fuel and igntion cut off switched... all easily bi-passed.

and there is NO protection against flatbeds. i guess that is why i pay close to 4 grand in insurance eh?
