borrowing stuff
so i borrowed a car part form this guy. it was a stock h-pipe with catalytic convertors and i needed it cuz my original one is shot and it is a must to go through air care. for 51 weeks of the year i use an off road h-pipe that doesn't have catalytic convertors on it so when air care came i needed to get one fast. he said i could borrow his so no problem. works for me saves me some cash. so i got to pick it up, and its wrapped in garbage bags to protect it while it is stored at this guys place. when i catch a look at it i notice its close but not the exact one i need. my cars and 88 and this one was off a 94-95 stang. it looks about the same size just that it hooks up to the under carriage of the car differently. took me a while but i was able to rig it up and use it to go through air care and i passed. so i get this pipe off and return it to the guy i borrowed it from.
so now he is saying that he has left it in the exact spot since i gave it back and its wrapped in the same plastic bags as when i returned it. but he is saying its not the right one becasue it is from a 94-95 stang and his is a 92 and requires one like my car did. so he is asking me if i tried to pull a fast one by giving him this one insted but this is the one that he lent me in the first place. so now i gotta figure out how to prove to him that it is the one he gave me to use and like i would try to switch it on him as if he wouldn't notice. he seems pretty convinced that im trying to screw him over but i think he must of got it with his car when he bought it and perhaps he hasn't never even looked at it till now. im just not sure what else i can say or do. im waiting for him to get back to me but im sure he is going to make this into a real problem.
