yeahh.. i'm not that passionately angry about it.. but i think that media talks about how people should "move on"
but they seem to make it impossible for people to do so.. replay after replay.... just shoving it in ppls faces again... they refer to "the tragedy" as "september 11th"... and they repeat that like.. i dunno HOW many times? the word is just getting annoying to me... i guess that's not gonna be one date we're gonna forget...

i've had two essays on our opinions one presentation! and a fuck'n test!! i mean ok... essay and presentation.. but a FUCK"n TEST!?!?!? WTF is wrong with this SICK SAD WORLD!! AHHHHHHHH.....

they're also calling it "911" as in the date (09-11)... which kinda pisses me off, cuz i had my b-day party 3 years ago on 09-11, and i made a cheesy flyer for the party and everything... i called it "rescue 911", my meaning was a little different, it was meant to be a "rescue" from school which had just started again... but anyways... THEY RIPPED ME OFF!!!
i went to the pub last nite, and EVERYONE was fucking talking about "sept. 11th" "bin laden" DIE DIE DIE!!!!! i wanted to smash so many bottles over so many heads... but i only had 4 bottles :(

i'm assumin that wut mryellow meant was that it's hard to completely understand what they're going through because we're only watching behind dividing screens..
and you even stated that fact yourself.. "Have some of your relatives be in some of the major US cities when something like the WTC incident occurs and then think about what you just said. " and plus, you can't tell some one HOW to feel towards an issue, if they don't feel it, how can you say "YOU HAVE TO BE" that's why I'm a lil bitter towards the media... well at least some parts of it... because it feels sometimes like they expect you to feel the a certain way.. every one's different n deals with things in different ways, just beacuse they don't react the way you do u can't bite their heads off fer it..

I think his statement was stupid. What I said was it's hard to feel the scope of the tragedy, but my sister was in Chicago and I was trying like crazy to get in touch with her to make sure she was OK. Just because we are distant viewers doesn't mean we can just shut it ALL out. I honestly could give a shit about the people that died in the WTC. If destiny/fate/God/whatever decided that was their time to go, who am I do judge? However, I do care about my family no matter where they are in this world. If my sister was in trouble I'd do anything to go help her out. I have my world that I live in, you have yours. But a statement such as the one put up saying 'how can we feel anything..if nothing happened to us?!?' is just plain ignorant. To be blunt, some idiots crash 2 jets into 2 skyscrapers. A leader of the country decides to start a war, some things get launched, someone else decides that they are going to die anyway so fuck the world, they launch something back, we see a flash and we can debate this in Hell. Tell me again that this doesn't effect us.
