If you mean your phonetic alphabet (which is different from "phonetics") then there are many different ones, the most common of which is:

Alpha Bravo Charlie Delta Echo Foxtrot Golf Hotel India Juliet Kilo Lima Mike November Oscar Papa Quebec Romeo Sierra Tango Uniform Victor Whiskey X-Ray Yankee Zulu.

There are many other variations of it. Some are entirely made up of Male first names, some entirely female first names, I've seen about 15 that are all similar to the standard international Ham one...

So no, Larry is perfectly alright. You got the jist, right?

I know the official phonetic alphabet and proper syntax/spelling/grammar are not related to being an idiot or not. However I do have my moments just like any one. If you noticed though I did post this in the punching bag section as I was pissed off and wanted to vent.
