People who take meaning from "looks"

I'm constantly getting people telling me that I "gave them a bad look" or "you looked at me like i was stupid" or "i was intimidatied by the way you looked at me."

I don't understand its not like i can see what my face looks like when i'm around people and my facial expressions should be the last thing that should determine how we relate.

I know I know...

80 something percent of human communication is done through body language and expressions..blah bla blah

I just wish people would take from my actions what they take from the way I "look" at them.

I do that all the time. My blank stair can look really bitchy at times. I had a guy stop in a resturaunt and ask me if I was mad.

i get this a lot too, tho it may have just been the moment that i turned my head from a weird conversation and they happen to be looking at me, and my face was weird. therefor of course i was giving THEM a bad look .......i just tell ppl to chill out. its not what they think.

I'm the queen of bitch glares and I used to do it a lot to people unbeknowest to me. I got in a lot of shit for it too and people were afraid of me. That one just makes me laugh cuz they were afraid of me when I was this cute lil kandE rav0r... course then again I don't think I'm really all that scary anyways.

Bitch glares just slip out... totally not my fault... well ok not ALL the time.

hehe.. well ya when im talking to my deaf friends .. well ok.. we use our face expression all of the time its part of our communication.. and sometime hearing people would stop and stare at us and think we are mad but really we arent! its kinda funny..

ya.. i ve noticed sometime hearing people use wrong face expression and im like uhhh? or that they use blank expression when they talk to me and sometime its hard for me to understand em but then its not their fault!:p

My mom thought I was giving her attitude today because I was frowning at her when she was talking about rent. I had cream in my eyes and I couldn't see well. heh

everyone always thinks i'm staring them down or giving them death-stares especially when Caitlin and I get together. it's usually not intentional.

i've been told i'm really unapproachable because of the looks i give people but in reality i don't even realize i'm doing it.
