i always peel it and rinse it. then chop it half and rinse again. no tears. EVAR!#%

rub your hands on a piece of stainless steel under running water. Takes pretty much any smell away

actually they work pretty good. That or if you have a stainless steel sink/faucet; works just as well.

There is no cure for crying from onions OK
They release hydrochloric acid when you cut them, a natural defense to being attacked! :sick: You can build up a tolerance though.

P.S. cut your fingernails and rub your fingers with lemon juice to get rid of the stink. the stink goes under your fingernails.
