I hate it when my work (superstore) throws shit out because the bulk packs are open... its not damaged or bad in anyway, but it'll still go to the trash...

a huge cart full of fresh pop... all to the garbage, just because it was out of its bulk packaging...

two words... FOOD BANK!

doesn't superstore have a mark-down's bin where they put all the damaged (but still good) products? one time i got a CASE of kool-aid for $2!! like 300 packs of kool-aid!!!

It's good to hear you're doing something about that, hopefully they listen because thats just ridiculous.
With my work, the accessories we sell come in larger bags, to hold the little individual bags. By the time we are done stocking a box full of merchandise, theres almost a garbage full of plastic bags. Such a fucking waste, I'm going to try to see if we can get some recycling going. If not, hopefully someone will get their hands on all of it and do something usefull/recycle the mass amounts of plastic.

Excessive packaging is fucking retarded.
