why do guys just have to LIE!?!?!!?! like wtf pisses me off so much.. tells me hes workin on saturday.. cant see each other havent seen him since wednesday, then his dad calls me and hes in the drunk tank in new west!! yah really at work eh.. so pathetic a 21 yr old in jail cuz hes too drunk.,. i thought only bums and like 16 yr olds were that stupid!!! BLARGH !!!!!!!!!!!!

u need to have a talk with him to see why he felt he needed to lie when he coulda just said he wanted to go get loaded with his buddys, maybe he felt you'd get mad.. either way its no excuse to lie like that... just give urself sometime to calm down then you 2 should talk and im sure you'll figure things out, and it'll be better.

i agree with decypher. there has got to be a reason that he has to lie to go out with his buddies. you gotta have open communication and honesty for relationships to work. could it be that you don't trust him, so he has to lie to go out with his buddies?

Um that happened to me at 21, but in my case someone slipped a lil GHB into my drink, while working security at a house party in North Van. Funny thing is I was at the cambie last night and some dude walking by the patio, stopped and was like "Hey, I remember you from a house party in North Van a few years ago. Dude you were fuckin wasted that night!"

Anywho Monique, Ryan's a good guy so you should atleast talk to him and find out what's the dilly first. He may have been at work, gotten off early and went to the bar with some co-workers, started doing shots and before he knew it BAM drunk-tank! Or he's a lying sack of shit, in which case dump his sorry ass and go get some angry rebound sex! I'd suggest someone you know and trust but not one of your really close friends. Since ryan was tall, maybe go for a short guy this time, and since Ryan has short hair maybe go for a guy with long hair. And instead of a guy with a boring name like Ryan, perhaps someone with a neat nick name, something short, like maybe 4 letters long........

ok ok, first things first, calm down

Before you get any more pissed off than you already are, give him a chance to explain himself. Like Flip said, he may have gone to the bar with the boys after work or something like that. If he did just straight-up lie to you, you need to find out why. If he feels like he has to lie to you to be able to hang out with his boys then you two have some serious relationship issues you need to work out.

Wait until you calm down, then talk it out. If you don't feel it's worth talking about, then you probably shouldn't be in this relationship to begin with.

hey hey, calm down. There is a logical reason for this. I am sure he went to work, then went for a beer AFTER work with the guys (fluke incident). He had one too many good rounds, and well, shit happens. Hell, I tell my girl, not lies, but good excuses.
