Ortho Evra is a patch, not a pill. Neither of them are instant birth control anyways. You don't just "pop a few caps" of your BCP.

thank god for free youth clinics..thats all i have to say. how much does 3 months worth of ortho cost?

*hands wayyyy up*.. im already a week late, had aboslutely no time to go to the clinic...its been my first time hormone free in a year, feels kinda nice (mentally). gonna try to drop by the clinic tmrw.. i wonder how i start my next pack of pills....anyone know?

whaooo i just reliezed something.. the clinics would have the patch now eh? maybe i get to try out the fancy patch this time..or should i. this makes tmrw trip just a tad more interesting.

The patch is about 28 bux a month - So really it's no more expensive then most pills - i mean they had to make the price comparable or women wouldn't choose to use - right?

I think, if you're already a week late in starting your pill package, you have to wait until your next period to start up again. You should ask to be sure.

ANd as for the patch, my clinic doesn't have them. We have to get a prescription and buy them ourselves. That's the burnaby clinic so I don't know if that's the case for wherever clinic you go to.

I go to the clinic is new west and they also don't have it. They can give you a prescription for it, but you have to pay for it. I asked and they said since it's so new, it's too expensive for them to carry [they get everything waaaay cheap]. If you go to planned parenthood you can get the patch, with the price dependant on your income and medical insurance [if you chose to you use it], but not free.
