so a friend calls you at like 8 am on a monday, they know you don't work that day, and you are in the area and they want to hang out...is that rude?
8 is kinda early, but you're in the area and you did sorta have plans to hang out taht day then why not, right?

or how bout this...
it's a saturday night and you decide to stay in and catch up on some sleep and wake up early the next day. you're fast asleep when at 1am a couple friends high on coke come to your house unannounced knocking on your bedroom window wanting to use your bathroom and hang out.
1am is kinda ridiculous, but it's a satruday night and they're in the area, so why not drop in?

what do you think bout these 2 diff situations?

i think if u sorta had plans with the person that called at 8am then its ok that they call u at that time, maybe they just wanted to make sure you both still had plans. Howeevr coming by ur house at 1am fucked on coke asking to use the bathroom while ur trying to catch up on sleep is ridiculous...they should at least call a few hours earlier n see wut ur plans are before knocking on ur window.

people arriving at my house at all hours of the night really doesn't bother mee too much.. im kinda nocturnal.. but if you call me at 8:00 in the morning expect to get an earful the phone's right next to my head and that's right in the middle of my sleep time

I think the FIRST one is the worst!!
for me anyway, because I am NEVER awake at 8 am and anyone who thinks I will be in the mood for going out is fucking stupid.At 1 am if i'm home i'm usually awake and dont think I would mind if someone stopped by for a little while...

the second one isnt bad either sometimes you just get fucked up on drugs and need a friend to hang out with ive been there and done this so when my friends do it i just think of it as returning a favor.

8:00 am is worse cuz thats so fuckin early and u should be sleeping is the morning.....and its hard to get back to sleep...id freak out for sure.... id be okay if they jus wanted to com over and sleep a couple hours then get up and chill

Fucking calling at 8am is NOT aloud. I dont mind the 1am visit because i am a night owl but dont you dare mess with me in the morning. I once had a dude text message me at seven twenty am in the morning, it was so erie and loud..this like ethic music, i freaked out.

he got really really mad, we got into a fight so i brought up how he came to my house at 1 am but that is supposedly an acceptable thing to do...fucking double standards!
he said he wouldn't have been so mad if i just went over instead of calling him, which doesn't make any sense cause either way i'd still be waking him up!

we hugged things out and our friendship was left unharmed...but i still think i'm right

It really depends I guess.... I am the kind of person that usually does not mind people dropping by at 1am, at least when I don't have to work the next morining.

I find calling before 10am rude, but most days I am out of the house and working by 8am, so I don't really have to deal with it.

Sleep = good

Some of us work allllll day evvverrrry day during the week, and get about 6 hours of sleep per night. The weekend is my catch up time...if I don't sleep in on the weekends I'm a walking zombie!

Not going to read what everyone else wrote. I think that if someone calls me at 8am and my cell phone isn't turned off then it's my fault.

As for people showing up at my house, yeah that's not cool.
