Eye infections ...ewww :(

I went tot see the movie Troy last night, my eye had been bothering me a lil while before I left to go to the movie, but i thought it would just go away. So I'm sittin in th emovie and my eye starts watering so much n my contact in my left eye gets all foggy...I get fed up and throw my contact from my left eye onto the floor of the theatre watching the rest of the movie using my right eye and covering my left one with my hand...after the movie i decide to go home thinking maybe it'll feel better by the morning! So i wake up around 7 this morning and my left eyes all yucky with sleep all in it n stuff and all red. ooohhh it hurts so bad :(

I've slept with them in before, but I've recently discovered that that isnt such a great idea lol.

eye gupe ehh? i call it eyeball surfers that slimy stuff that surfs the surface or ur eyeball n when u pull it out it feels so nice LOL...i kno its disgusting...i'll b quiet now

im just getting over an eye infection.

careful of your makeup...any makeup that you put on the nite that you're eye started getting infected...becuase it could now be contaminated and you shouldnt use it again
as for the contact in your other eye (the one you didnt throw on the ground) dont re-use it cause its also probably contaminated


and as for making it feel better....go the pharmacy and pick up some polysporin drops (found behind the counter...although you dont need a prescription) they're like $9 and they work like a charm....keep using them for a couple of days after your eye looks and feels better..to make sure all the infection is gone


another thing to do to make it feel better is putting on a cold cloth over your eyes.

also....if you have allergies...you may have gotten the infection because of that...from rubbing your eyes and not knowing that something all gross was on your hands...make sure you wash your hands before touching your eyes again!

thx for the advice!! i actually think i might have eye polysporin around the house!! ohh so excited i wanna get rid of this gross lookin infection! :)

ya i get eye infections a lot in the summer.. i dont know why but i do... i think its the combination of itchy eyes from allergies and just people being dirtier in the summer

if you do have allergies though, dont confuse the eye infection for just allergies... cause there's conjunctivitis (pink eye), and allergic conjunctivitis (same symptoms as pink eye, but caused by allergies and not bacteria)

say hello to conjunctivits! I had it in April. Eye infection, ear infection, cold, flu, fever.. full 9 yards, no good.

i hate how you have to sleep on paper towels otherwise you get that ear fluid all over your pillow sheets heh
