ok, but why is my ftp still working on port 21?!?!

I have the cheapest consumer ADSL package(39.95/month) and i'm still up and running

so where are you going to get a machine capable of sniffing and sorting through 10gigabit/s of traffic for ftp requests? because i want one.

of course its not going to stop all users, and probably wont even stop the majority, but something so simple decreasing their overall traffic is worth it.

You had your ftp up for a couple of weeks while I have had mine up for quite a while now.

They must know how much traffic I have been using on port 21 and their computer profiled me and I probably got tagged.

That's my guess.
