"Drive Thru" Courtesy

Is it just me, or do you hate it when you go thru the "drive thru" window, grab your food, and pay... and when the worker passes you the change but tries to hand it to you in a fashion where it's almost non-receivable??? :047:

What I mean is... isn't it more convenient to give me the *change* first before the actual dollar bills? Instead of attempting to balance the loose change on top of the cash, and trying to hand that to me without spilling or dropping it?

Isn't that part of the whole "drive thru" courtesy process?

Most of all, I hate it when change is dropped! And they expect me to open my door in the *less than* two feet of room that I have between me and the drive thru window to pick up the mess that they've made.

it what makes working drive thru fun to them. they want to piss as many people off as they can cuz no one ever comes in and bitches about their money being 'balanced' on top the bills. it gets them extra angry for kicks. i worked in fast food so i know these things.

One thing tho, when it's somewhat outdoors like that, i think the change is also put on the bills to keep them from blowing away or something..

i mean if you put the bills ontop they could blow away..and they're worth more then the change..

but then they could also just hand em separately [some do, some just wanna piss you off! hehe]

well it's just as bad for the employee when the customer throws down change on the counter and then expects ME to count it! GRRRR :snyx: and then they expect change! :snyx: :snyx:

ive never worked in foods. but i know what its like when people pu the change over the bills..so ive always made it a habbit to hand them the change first and then the bills...i dunno..

drive thrus..i hate goin thru them cuz i'm always too scared to get too close to the window but my arms are too short otherwise..so i usually don't go thru them..

but i do feel bad for sum drve thru workers..specially the late nite ones..cuz they get harrassed by the weird people of the nite~

Me skipp and corrie were going through drive through in quadra and the service was terrible they were being so bitchy and what not ....when they passed the drinks one spilled onto the car....they weren't gonna do anything but then we told them to wipe down the car at first they sorta ignored us but when we wouldn't leave the girl was hanging out the window wiping down the side of the car....it was our REVENGE!!!
