So this is how it began,
i was going to meet up with my frd @ metro, while he was waiting for me@ Claire's for getting ear piercing. he went there & was told to talk to the counter to choose the type of piercing. so my frd talked to this girl @ counter who worked there, around 20 yrs old, make ups everywhere, trying to pretend to be hot looking(straight from his mouth).

She asked him which one he wanted, & my frd told her "October plz", & she said "its pink", & he said "yea", but she again said "but its pink", & my frd said "yea" again until she said it was pink again for **at least 4 times**, & then things got extremely weird & humuliating. from wut my frd's told me, the girl @ counter was gving him those Racist looking, no smiling @ all but rather full of disgust. my frd finally gave up, & chose blue instead.

after i got there, he told me everything. I mean i dont c there's any problem for him to choose a pink crystal ball-like ear piercing as long as he likes it. everyone has his/her own right to choose wut ever the colour they like, & im sure there's some guy out there who also likes pink colour.

that girl with the manager tag working @ claires was being such a bitch. Customer is the king, and she has no right to humuliate ppl. if she considers her act to be justified, then i guese all woman in this world should not wear anything thats "blue", or hv anything thats blue...

I worked in a similar store (Ardenes) and was disgusted when I heard some of the comments parents/siblings can make to children concerning things like that. Boys will ask to get their ears peirced, so the father says "No, do you want to end up looking like a faggot or be mistaken as a woman?" Not only was that very narrow-minded but the boy was barely ten years old. I've also seen little boys, and I mean little as in 2-5 yrs old, who would pick out a not-so-masculine necklace, or want a pink cd case and their parents/siblings start ragging on them and calling them names! They are just toddlers, and its JUSt a color for christs sake!

They can say what they want to their children, as rude as it is, but when a customer wants a pink fucking earing you give it to him. I've been told numerous times that the girls at Claires are quite snobby but thats just ridiculous. She obviously made a stereotypical judgement as to why he wanted a pink earring (even though it sounds like it was his freaking birthstone, it's not like they make "gender suitable" birthstones for each month.), basically refused to let him have it, and treated him like crap afterwards.

People like that should be reported, if she was manager then try contacting her district or provincial supervisor.
