SHOUTS OUTS, let's say WEEKLY shout outs... are so fucking LAME!

People goto a party, they see their friends, then they write shoutouts to them on this web board like they haven't seen each other in ages.

Party #1 - Week 1 - Joe Betty & Susie attend it... party ends--> event review

Joe writing event review, and posts shoutouts
Betty - you loooked sooooooooo cute, thx for the gift
Susie - you thought that blue was a cool colour, wait till u see my green one! ha haha

Party #2 - Week 2 - Joe Betty & Susie attend it... party ends-->

Joe writing event review, and posts shoutouts

Betty - you looked so cute (I TOLD YOU LAST WEEK!) and aww u shouldn't have gaven me a gift
Susie - now you seen my green, bet u cant wait to see the purple one! hahah

Betty - it was nice seeing u (AGAIN, i saw u the weekend before, and weekend before.. but i thought ill write it was nice seeing u, cuz well its the cool thing to do)
Susie - colours are mixed, now what? (an other lame ass shoutout..)

QUESTION: what is the purpose of shoutouts when u see each other every freakin weekend/weekday?!!?!?!?!?!?
ANSWER: there isn't one!!! in most cases its fucking stupid and repetitive!!

OK YES, if its like an out of town party, or its one where u really havent seen someone in a long time, then it's worth a mention, but otherwise, shoutouts... what's the point?????????

I dunno. I always get a little bit of a charge whenever I see my name posted there. I'm certain everybody else does. It means you've affected a person enough to make them want to put your name on a message forum. It may not be much, but it is what it is. Like I said, and many others have. If you think they're lame, then just don't bother with them. It's that easy. You too can become a happy person if you just stop letting pointless shit bug you.
