People who dont use their REAL name on msn

I dont get it, I have about 100 people on my msn list and about 90% of them dont use their REAL name. they use some saying, quote or whatever... it pisses me off sooooo much trying to memorize peoples e-mail adresses....and than they get mad when I ask "who is this?"

If you wanna have some sort of saying or what ever...FINE, just put your real name in front of it so people dont have to figure out who you really are!

eg.......*TOM--*turn up the good turn down the suck*

oh and stop changing your name every five seconds....its very anoying when the window pops up all the time because you keep changing your bloody name!

cant agree more. I hate opening up my list seeing whos online then i see another new name and every single time i have to hover the mouse over their name to see their email then figuring out who it is and since i cant remember everyones emial sometimes i have to ask "who is this" and its quite annoying.

Do you know how many people would have "Dave" there if all we ever used were names?

Christ, that would be hell and a half. Have you ever LOOKED in a phone book? Especially around "Smith"? Jesus. I would hate for my MSN/ICQ lists to look as sterile and useless as those.

At least there's some form of originality and art coming out of MSN names.

Why don't you just switch it to their email address? I never have people's alias' showing... it makes things a lot easier and you don't have to deal with two lines of a laem quote and smilies for everything they say.

That was the one good thing about ICQ... you could actually edit it each contacts name so you wouldn't have this kind of struggle. I don't add hundreds of people onto my list, so I don't have this problem.
