i really think that there is no point in even trying a ouija board.. although the concept of getting in touch with lingering spirits is intriguing<---(how the fuck do you spell this word)

i refuse to fuck with those things.
ive had a pretty strange experience with one of those.
I suggest you dont toy with things you dont know much about,that goes for tarot cards,palmistry,wicca...etc etc etc.
Read up on the shit first with an open mind,and if u can dig then giver...but until then i wouldnt suggest it.

Ouija boards are bad mojo...They open the way wrong doors to the "other side"...They can let some pretty ugly things through, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

My vote is to stay far far FAR away.

I mean think about it.. your summoning some spirit who's just floating around minding its own business, just to ask it a bunch of dumb questions.

If a bunch of kids kept phoning me asking shit like "OMG DOES BILLY REALLY LOVE ME??" I'd be right pissed too, and likely to fuck with them a bit. (especially if I was stuck on the astral plane without a body and bored to tears)

If you want to try talking to spirits, do what Discord said, make your own. You really don't need much. The basic concept is autononomous movement of the hand holding the pointer piece. (When it happens, it'll feel like its moving on its own) The spirit connects to you, gains access to the nerve pathways going into your arm and influences them to move the piece towards the appropriate answer. (Your subconcious can do this as well though, and it can be pretty hard to tell the difference.)

If you want to get the hang of how it works, try getting stoned and doing some automatic writing. :) think a question, or say it out loud if you want, while holding a pen, then let any nervous twitch in your hand just do its thing.. some really interesting stuff can come out.

Oh yeah, and do yourself and all your friends a favour... read up on banishing and protection rituals before really getting into talking with spirits!!

(Fun note: that pointer and pinky finger metal symbol.. thumb on the two middle fingers.... is a banishing symbol. :D )

Back in grade nine my friends and I got really good at it....after that year we grew bored of it, but down the road a friend of mine went to see a physic and she said that apparently a spirit has attached itself onto her from that, and she's lucky because it seems like a "good spirit." Whether or not it's true it freaked me out of any physic/ouiji/tarot/paranormal stuff for a long time.

I remember when I last used a ouija board, an I was all like 'does tina like me?' but then like, when the marker started to move towards yes, like ted was all pulling on it in the other direction, and then he was all like 'hey let go, you're not supposed to pull it!" an I was like 'fuck you, you're pulling it' an then I was like 'master oujia, is ted gay? and it was all moving towards yes, so ted was like 'fuck you asshole!' and he punched me in the eye.
