DUI - License suspension

the VPD can all goto hell. How did i get this?!?! when i wasnt fucking DRIVING!!!!! i went to go get a pack of smokes out of my car and the piggies drove up to block the car. They took my keys and towed my car... now i have to go all the way to vancouver angain to pick up my license, such a pain in the ass.

I mean come on... they didnt even give a chance to explain anything out
and even when i did they blew me off saying they have the right to do this bull shit!

i hope the gentleman who gave me the suspension and the towing of my car gets stabbed in with a dirty needle and has to live his miserable fucking life off the police force.

That or get in a crash and loose both his shitty legs!

he was an extrem prick, he even threatend to give me a ticket for spitting.


anyone know if i can dispute this like normal traffic violations? or since i sign the ticket am i fucked? because like i said I WASNT EVEN FUCKING DRIVING THE VEHICLE!!!

there isnt much to the story... i wasnt gooned... i did fail the breathalizer test... but i was coherent and was having a normal conversation with the cop.

i simply walked to the car. i did go in thru the driver side... its a habit... I DRIVE THE CAR!... the door was left open with one leg sticking out as like looked in the center console. one car unit blocks me, and one was walking up to me. and the rest is a buncha explaining for 20min, i saw that he had his mind up from the beginning to tow and jack my license. So it ended with a "wtf fuck you" then got cuffed because i seemed like a "threat". OH and by the way it ended up to 3 car units and 6 piggies surrounding me...

i said what are you guys gonna do beat me and leave me to die in stanly park? (they didnt like that) :060:

honestly i dunt know why i was picked on like that.. obviously if i was doing something worng they would have gave me fines and stuff, but nope nothing...

this isnt even somthing like "i got off easy" i shouldnt have gotten anything at all.

if "i was getting my smokes" worked, then no one would get arrested for dui.

btw: word of advice, being polite, and not taunting the cops is usually a good idea if you don't like tickets.

It's NOT legal for them to give you a DUI 'cause it "looks" like you're going to drive.

Get his badge number and file a complaint with the police department.

You have a problem with the ticket? Go to fucking court and dispute.

Filing a complaint would just piss them off enough to show up to the court date with a couple mounds of evidence.

Just go and plead your case like you're supposed to. More often than not the cop doesn't even show up and you get off as it's your word against nobody's.

if a cop goes to a court date on his day off, he gets paid TRIPLE TIME. Which is why they've started going!

if your keys were not in the ignition then they can't logically say you were 'going' to drive while impaired...that should throw everything out the window...

Nope your wrong aslong as your within control of the vehicle they can charge you with DUI. You had the keys right ? that made you in control of the vehicle.. making the charge valid.. i know its stupid but its just the way it works. my uncle is a cop and this is straight from the source so no point in argueing.

The departments have started arranging the court dates for each officer to all be on one day as far as i know. that way they can make every court case.

just to add, when i was in law class, i specifically remember a fellow getting charged with dui while he was sleeping in the car. he had the car on for heat in the night, but he was sleeping in the back, and he still got charged.

they might have changed the law since, but it was only 5 years ago when i was in the class.
