i'm a fucking Corrie junkie. If I miss episodes during the week then I have to catch up on Saturdays with the omnibus edition. the funny part is that every soap in Britain is pretty much a carbon copy of Corrie, which has been running for over 40 years: half the show is shot in the local pub, nearly all the characters are poor, many of them are overweight and/or ugly, and few of them have ambitions beyond pissing off their ex-partners. these shows stand in stark contrast to the contrived plot lines and hollywood glam of north american soaps.. love it.

that damn friggen trumpet used to wake me up every sunday as it echoed down the hallway to my room. it was horrible, HORRIBLE.
