Price match?

I was on the phone with EB Games asking if they matched competitor's prices. They said yes, as long as I have the flyer. So I told him I did, and quoted him the price.

"Oh, we don't match that because it's a sale price?"
"so what do you match?"
"The manufacturer's list price."
"But that would be the same everywhere..."

That's so dumb I want to cry.

lol was so stupid. not u but EB i mean. basiclly they dont do price matches then. the real meaning of a price match is they match any price that even sales. thank god i dont buy real games

that's BS, the dude @ EB is lying, I used to work at the one in lougheed, so long as it's not a console system they can match it, if it's a console the price is pretty much set in stone.
