I didn't find morphine all that great. Demerol on the other hand was gold.

demerol didnt do it for me took a good 3 shot of morph and I was golden

I remember having a gallstone attack and getting rushed to emergency earlier this year.

It was the most unbearable pain ever and I swore to the nurses I was never having kids!

ooh but then the morphine came in and then everything was warm and fuzzy and wonderful..and I just laaaughed and laaaughed.

hahahah ya Myra same thing happened to me at first I just though I kinked my back sleeping but it wouldnt go away and I started to puke so off I went. Boom morphine and gravel and I was like ohh man yesssssssss. Slept there for a good 3 hours..

heh, anytime someone I know, tells me they're going to have surgery, I tell them to never let up on the morphene.
I regret allowing the doctors to take me off that stuff so early when I was in the hospital. Never in my life have I felt so much pain with out it.

Lorzepam when I had my Wisdom Teeth out was wild...
Morphine, Toridol, Demerol, T3's... That was when I had my Appendix out. Those Doctors had me high as a Kite for almost 2 weeks!
