Car Accidents!
ARRGH SO MAD
Ok so today I'm driving down Westminster Hwy travelling East between Shell and No.4 rd, just taking my normal route to work. I'm in the left lane, doing about 60, when all of a sudden some idiot decides to pull out of their driveway and into the far lane, when the entire right lane was wiiiiide open. I'm going 60 and they literall just pulled out and gassed it, so I slam on the brakes and lay on the horn, and they didn't even TRY to get out of my way. So I swerve into the right lane, but since it was so wet I skidded all the way across the right lane and into someones hedge in their front yard. The driver of the other car didn't even STOP. They just drove off. About 10 other cars saw it, and not ONE stopped to see if I was OK. I missed hitting TWO telephone poles, one by about 5 feet and I literally stopped maybe 2 feet before the second. If I had missed that second pole, I would have gone front-end first off a 4 foot drop into someone's rocky front yard. I was so shaken up I had no idea what to do - I called my supervisor to tell her I would be late, and I couldn't even speak! I just kept stuttering and trying to get the words out. I called my mommy and she calmed me down enough so I could call the police - they came out and checked out the damage and took my statement. :( Luckily, I don't think there's any damage to my car, although I will have to get it inspected in case it messed up anything internally. I just can't fucking believe that NOT A SINGLE CAR stopped to see if I was OK. I could have hit my head if my headrest wasn't positioned properly or if my seatbelt wasn't on...and I probably would have just sat there knocked out or concussed until I woke up or until the people whose driveway I was blocking needed to get out (or come home). What's more stupid is that person definitely lives in one of the 6 or 7 houses before where I ended up stopping, and although I didn't get a lisence plate I did get a make and model of their car and they're SO getting busted. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ME :(

especially with the rushy rushy morning traffice, people dont stop for anything...
i''m glad you're ok and hopefully you wont have to fix up your car. on her way down from sfu on gaglardi, my friend's tire shot and she did a couple 360's and almost ended up in the ditch, and NO ONE stopped to see if she was ok.. people these days

i am in the same boat as u with alot of things it seems
dean and me and justin were driving on main turning on to union monday night and sum bitch ran a red or sumthing of the sorts when were turning ran right in to us on the passenger side! the car is written off and i tore a legiment in my knee argh! im glad to here you are ok tho:)

Keyword... "Driving in Richmond" That's the only place I was almost taken out 4 times in just shy of two hours. Almost everytime it was someone trying to change lanes into me. Driving in Richmond is a blood sport. I hate it.

hope you bust that fucker haha but a real car accident is my infamous 7 flip...i dont know how i managed to survive that one... going 40, in a ditch, down a hill...+ Gravity and momentum....not a good mix

Nat I am glad to hear that YOU are alright (shaken up, no doubt) and I hope your car is too. Richmond's ridiculous drivers is NOT something I miss since moving. In fact I'm so happy I don't hafta brave it every day anymore. Man... And how unnerving that NO ONE stopped. I always help and offer to be a witness when I have seen something. But the reality is that more people are present, the less likely u are to do something about it, bc u think "someone else will". That shocked me in my psych class, but I kinda get it now. Humans are a weird species! On a side note, I didn't get to NW to get the transfer form so maybe I'll purchase some minutes first and then get my others transferred. Hehe. See u soon hun! Again, I'm glad you're okay. Can't have no crazy Richmond drivers injuring my li'l sista!

people are asses... no one stops when they see an accident anymore
some bitch ran a red light and t boned me last week my car got written off.... no one stopped at all so now i probably wont even get 100% not liable cause there was no witnesses fuck people piss me off

The pictures taken of the scene would have easily paid for a few trips to Tahiti.

If they like you so much, don't you think that if I really were this huge fucking bitch that you seem to think I am, they would see it too? The only reason we clashed in the first place was that you were being rude to one of my friends, and I wasn't about to sit there and read that garbage without saying something. So, if it makes me a bad person, or a bitch, to stick up for my friends, then so be it - I don't plan on not caring about them anytime soon.
