sometimes around christmas libraries will let you pay less fines if you donate canned-food. you should ask them if they'll do that.

yeah i think i have at least 20 dollars in library fines. :( still got books to take back though. i should put that on my "to-do" list for tomorrow..

back until Jan some time, mostly to subsidize libraries and such. oh, and visit family.

the library i work at has a limit fine of $10. you couldn't get fined more than that.

...which reminds me.. that I have to return my books.

I've had a 100+ fine before.. it was because I turned in a reserves item a couple days late and those things cost a dollar an hour after due date. :P

But thankfully, nice librarian reduced it to 20$

im HORRIBLE with libraries. i think i have fine at my school library, richmond public AND VPL. i just can't find myself to return books on time..even when i try..they always end up a day or 2 late.

I had a $60 Late Fee at the Library by my House once... it's so annoying... wake up and find the slip on your desk. "OH SHIT!!!! THIS IS 4 DAYS OVERDUE!!!!"

forgetting to return movies to rogers is also a big one for me!!! but then everytime i go in i act allsuprised like i didnt know i had a late charge and the workers sayy oh 'u can pay next time' muahaha

Why didnt you just take them back when they ask for them back.
That way you wont have to worry about paying later fines.

i had an $175 fine at ubc when i was in grade 12.
last year i got a $148 one.
so far this year i'm at $11. :(
