Parents And Young Kids At Raves

I'd figure morepeople will hate than like the topic i'm gonna ask about.

you peeps like the old parents / gangstars (or wannabes) at raves?
personally i find it funny when i watch how hi they are and start doing funny dances and hump each other and dance in circles.
and funny watching the thugs get their walk on or mack on. or just walkin around staring.
it's like, if it isn't for them, the scene wouldn't be too good kuz then there'd be nothing to diss (maybe besides the bad music, etc)

they kinda give me a source of humour or sumthing to laugh at. but i'm guessing most of u get pissed when u see them. wel i do too but i went to simple 5 as a barstar and ...hahahah. peeps saw a pic of my hardcore.wannabeness on teamhardcore.

what do you f&k'ers think?
and what do you think should be like the age that kids should start raving? i haven't really laughed at elementary kids that walk around raves hi and all...but yah

well, i think everyone is welcome to go to parties, i like seeing a variety of people there, it makes it interesting. it's sad seeing little kids all wasted though, i don't like that.
personally, i don't "diss" anyone i see at parties having fun, as long as they're not hurting others (or trying to kiss my boyfriend, lol). i don't care what they look like, dress like, if they're older, or whether they're high or sober, as long as they're enjoying themselves it's all good:089:

I'm pretty liberal about who's at an all night raves parties, I pretty much don't care, as long as I and them are having a good time. Which is why is the reason I'm at a party usually anyway, and probably them too(?). People are free to do whatever they choose, and if it makes me feel uncomfortable, then I could(/should) do something else.

i can't really say much about young kids.. i'm only 16.. but seriously.. some kids you think are alot younger aren't always that young..t hey just look it so id unno?

I don't really care about who's at a party.. if they wanna go let them. the onlty time i get pissed off is with many of the "parents" there.. not all but alot.. they're so rude!! they just bump into you, push they're way around and THATS what i don't like.. but if anyone did that i wouldn't like it.. if' they're gonna be nice nad fine then whatever i don't care?

and "honger" parties.. i don't really like those.. but that's because when usually i go in their.. i get the worst looks because i'm white.. and that's what i don't like.. but whatev's..

it's not like i don't like them.. i just don't like how the majourity [or so it seems] acts.

i've been at parties and there have been some nice parents there..a dn they're fine.. whatev's y'know? i just don't like the rude ones..b ut then i don't like the rude teenagers or young adults either...

Yeah, i definately do not enjoy getting jabbed in the chest by rude party goers. That's pretty much the only beef I've received by older asian people(parents?) at all night rave parties (@ simple05 and k2). The second room usually saves me from the mahsive crowd in the main room.

I don't mind older crowds, or race seclusive (the only race seclusive party I've been to was goaway, which had pretty much all caucasian people), but the only beef I got is rude people. Yeah they suck! But there's attitude everywhere.

yah i think some of the rude people are just too messed to care who they're bumpin into.
the parents that i have encountered, they like tapped me or slapped me on the back and wheni turned back, they were smiling and saying, WUSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!.

c.tard and yah about those (actually) twonger parties (meaning taiwanese hehe) like od, phantom (or wutever the hell that party was called), etc. i've had people i know tell me that they have those parties because they don't want u peeps there. i think it's kind of a pride thing for a lot of taiwanese they just wanna see their own kind there or wut not. and there are a lot of people who just think they're so cool and if ur different, then u'll seriously get the stare, i'm CBC (cdn born chinese) and i get the stares myself.
and if there's another thing, it's that some of 'em really like to perfect their dances and if they see a good dancer, they might even just stand up and try to dance better than what they just saw. kinda wierd.

then there are the versace frontin pimps that just shove u kuz they wanna get thru.

i guess the 2nd room comes in peace ^_^

ya see really, that's the thing i don't like! So what? i'm not gonna be accepted at a party cause i'm white? That I'm sorry is bullshit! Do I get mad at them for going to parties I go to? Because they're asian? No!

Like okie we're in canada.. i know there's racism around still and i know that's something that's not gonn go away just like that. but really! they should just be a little more respectful of others.. they act as if they're so much better then everyone just because they're taiwanese? or whtever!

They had their era, it was called DISCO.

They should be at home so they can wake up to make us breakfast for when we come home from parties.

heh.

But really, I think it's cool if a kid (say, 16 y/o) wants to go to a party but the parents are kinda nervous so they tag along the first time. You know, just to make sure that nothing goes wrong. It's a peace of mind thing for 'rents and there's a good chance you'll be allowed to go by yourself next time.

If my mom asked if she could come to a party see what it's like I wouldn't mind, just as long as she didn't follow me around all night!

What I meant by the first part of they should stay the fuck home was like, all the old creepy e-tarded parents that go without their kids, or who don't even HAVE kids. You know, like the large groups of old asians that enjoy passing out in the middle of the dance floor at Riverside. They need to stay the fuck at home!

People in the tri city area do you know that the guy who owns bestway driving school goes to parties all the time in the summer. He goes with his wife (who is one of the women in the office) there son and there dog. They walk around and r really nice they enjoy the scene. He is a Old hippie and says it brings back memories when he's there.

i feel that pretty much anyone is allowed to go as long as they are having fun and not making it difficult for others to have a good time. also it is anouther thing to look at when your taking a break from cutting the rug... the more people that come the more money the company makes which means more parties in the future. :161:

hhmmmmmm..........i had no idea that partiez were like that here in vancouver (a little race oriented)!! and, to me, that'z a big fat pile of donkey crap!! i grew up in a community that wuz very multi-cultural, and that iz pretty much how i view rave'z too. i don't just mingle with a certain group. i'm all over tha joint!! now, whut i'm about to say iz prolly whut'z expected from someone who haz only been partyin' for a year, but aren't partie'z all about PLUR??

and regardin' tha parent'z.....i've only bumped into tha kewl one'z.....(ie. mum'z and dad'z with those white glove thingy'z). lol...my first party wuz actually very adult targeted. i, along with only about 20 other'z, were under 21. it wuz a 3 day party in tofino (soundwave)....so they were all pretty much hippy'z....but we had some pretty wacky convo's.

my take on this is simple. parents that go just cuz they wanna should totally be allowed, but as long as they don't come chasing after me and od and stuff...thats okay. everyone should be allowed going.. as long as they respect the scene.

and about the racial group thing. i totally know what u mean.. there are honger parties are 95% chinese/asian...are there white ppl parties with the same percent of caucasion ppl?!.. i'm thinkin which party i should bring my really good friend to first..she wants to go to a mini.. but i don't wanna intro the scene to her with all hongers. (she's caucasion)... this country will always be racist even though it's a stupid thing... i get stared at at honger parties cuz of the way i look too.. .too bad i don't dress like hongers...i duno it's stupid.

ya i kno that guy his name is gary or greg? his elderly parents own bestway i went there last summer and he was trying to sell me summer love tickets. he's a cool guy we'd talk about chronic and shit with him he was chillin...he said he uses those big bestway vans to transport his friends too outdoors. he wuz cool for an old guy

i saw most of this "old ppl raving" phenomenon at Fusion Dreams.. countless old asian dudes doin their thing shirtless and/or dancing with their spouses holding hands and moving their arms bak and forth like there were choppin down trees with a saw... and of course rotating their heads around like a bunch of crackheads on the best trip they ever had..

this guy i know said that he saw his aunt at some rave ... lol ... thats pretty funny
