When a Holiday isn't really a Holiday at All

1. Mondo stress from stupid sibling, and mondo stress from the parents on account of siblings stupidity.
2. Having to sleep on the couch at my own home during Xmas.
3. Playing mediator when the fight finally breaks out
4. Getting slightly sick and grumpy 'cause what should have been 4 days to shower my head turned into 4 days of walking on eggshells, sleeping on a couch and being woken up at 6am.

GAH! I needed that time off! DAMMIT!

Sounds lame! It might not work for your family but mine stopped giving pesents and now there's zero Christmas associated stress. I don't do any Christmas planning till a day or two before when I go and buy some really tasty food and a lot of booze.

it certainly wasn't gift related chagrins. It was more people trying to do too much and then flipping out... ah well, it's behind me now and I get a SNOW HOLIDAY! WHOOT!
