Why does everyone emphasize the letter E????

Yeah, I've noticed it too, and yeah, it's dumb. As for marketing it, well, E is kind of an ugly letter anywayz, don't you think? There are other more aesthetically appealing letters, if you ask me *shrugs*.

yes, thanks, i'm aware of that. i was talking about how people and companies EMPHASIZE it, make it stand out so it's the first thing you notice when you glance at their name or product.

unless it is the first letter of thier name, i've never seen a company to my knowledge emphasize the letter e.

well, there's eatons. granted, E is the first letter of the company name, but until a few years ago their logo wasn't a huge lower case "e". is it really necessary? go to their site, first thing you see is not their name, but a big huge e. www.eatons.com
another one is Loreal, they have a line of products called "Future". now, all the letters of "FUTURE" are in gold capital letters except for the "e" at the end is a big red lower case e, there's a dash seperating the e form the rest of the word. it's one of the first things you notice when you look at the product. next time you're at the drug store go to the skin care aisle and look. perhaps the entire line of Future products is packed with vitamin e, i don't know.
i have some vitamins, they're a round dark green pill with a big E stamped on them. i got a laugh out of that when i first opened them.
there's more, i just don't feel like sitting here typing them all out right now.
i think it's because the letter e gets people's attention.

it's not that the world is emphasizing the letter "E", it's just the only thing on your drug filled minds.
