-RANT-Ok so me and my mom always go to this taco place in North Van. We have been going there for over 2 years. No problem, usualy get the same order.
Anyway the last 3-5 times between us we go in there in the last 2 months and there are a couple new employees working the till. So of course they are training thats fine. A couple times I have to wait while one has about 20 recipts spit out of the till. And then cannot get it open to give me change.
Then my mom goes and when she gets home complains that they tried to over charge her for a meal she always gets.
Ok thats fine they are just getting used to the job. Anyway this happens a couple more times. It's been about 2 months now.
You would think they could start getting it together. But no. today my mom goes in to get our regular meal. She calls in advance to order. And one of the new girls tells her she can't order the same way she always has. My mom is like huh? Why can't I just have the meal the way I have always got it? So the girl says fine we will do it for you this time. BUT IT'S THE LAST TIME OK!!!! And my moms like WTF???
So she goes down there to get the order. A little confused, she asks why can't I order my side dishes the way I always have? And the girl is like you just can't ok.
So my mom asks her. Have you just changed your rules? Because I have never had anyone tell me that before.
And the girls just goes what do you think your special or something?
So now this girl is copping attitude with her, and is totaly rude. She goes in the back and starts badmouthing my mom to the other woman in the back. And my mom can clearly tell because the kitchen is like 3 feet away.
So my mom asks how she can contact the manager. And the girl is like I don't have her number. And she only works late at night. So my mom is like thats fine I'll be back to talk to her then.

I just have no idea what the hell this chicks problem is. She feels the need to cop attitude with everyone, even when it's her mistake. I wasn't there today but you can just tell with this chick. If you question anything she does even though she is still a trainee she will bitch at you. She has no customer service. And the other woman that works with her doesn't appear to know a lot of english, and wont even get into it. She just kind of walks away into the kitchen even though she has been working there a lot longer.
So yah hopefully my mom will talk to the manager because it's not a large chain and I like their food. Personaly I would not want to deal with someone so rude all the time. And I don't want her touching my food either.

is this place taco bell/time?

if so, don't demand alot from those who are working fast food. most are retards, and thats why they are workign fast food.

just be nice to them, cause they deal with shit all day from every customer demanding more then their retard minds can handle.

if its a quality establishment, your getting dicked around from every angle. Call up the BBB. raise some hell.

i don't know aboot that. i think EVERYBODY is nice to them thinking that everybody else is mean to them. i bet those people in the fast food industry have it pretty good.

Its not a big chain. And it's pretty low key. I don't see at as a place where you are constantly getting harrased by customers like Mcdonalds. The rush is like 4 people. But whatever she was just being rude with no reason. She is just one of those people you walk up to,and they already have a chip on their shoulder. I am nice and so is my mom. We both hate confrontation if it's not needed. It's just she is snapping at people over a simple question. And it's just constant from a place that there are no other locations to go to. It's not that big a deal. I just hate people that are rude for no reason. And it sucks because it's a place I like to grab lunch from a lot. I don't want to deal with her every time I"m there. And I'm pretty sure I can expect poor service from now on every time that chick is working there.

It's really small. It's just off of 20th on Lonsdale.
Arrrrg and she was a brat again today! I was right beside my mom when she ordered on the phone. And then we get there and the chick runs up the bill and forgets stuff! Then we pay for the extra food and she short changes us.
PS: today when we call she says that we can order the way we always did. But then my mom walks into the store, and she starts copping attitude again when she realizes who it was calling. BAH!!!
lol you can tell I have so much awful stuff going on in my life when this is my biggest beef right now :p
