Stupid kids

So coming back home from doing some shopping and shit and I am taking the board walk at mill lake here in abby. All of a sudden I see these 3 kids in the middle of the lake on the ice and are sliding around with a shopping cart. Now yes the lower mainland has had its cold snap since new years day but obviously today the temperatures are dropping fast. Even with the cold snap since new years day it wouldn't be all that cold enough so that the water can freeze over with a thickness of ice that would deemed safe. But no what do these kids do... they screw around in the middle of the lake just asking to get killed. And again with the temperature dropping the ice is thinning up fast. None of the less I called 911 and the cops ended up showing up (real fast) as well as a firefighter crew with some rope and a boat that was on its way. Once when the kids saw the police they ended up coming back to the board walk and let me tell ya one of the police officers was yelling at them hysterically on the dangers. At the same time he got there parents' phone numbers and called them up. These kids were shit lucky that they did not fall through but I have yet to understand why anyone would want to attempt to do this

because they're idiots.

if people are going to do stupid things, i'd say let them do it so long as they aren't hurting anyone but themselves.

hahaha... that reminds me of something that happened to me when I was a kid... my friend pushed me into thier pool cause they thought the ice was thick enough. Yeah, that was cold.

ive seen my little cousin take a bail off of a trampoline that would have shattered my entire body...

he gets up, shakes it off... and continues to see how high he can jump on the tramp.

now if only we could use this knowlege for some military purpose....... hmm.
