it was entirely my intention to make a thread about this very subject, but you beat me to it Johnno... I really wanted to go yesterday, but the first fucking day I actually decide to go it starts raining, and hasn't stopped raining on the hills.. as of yesterday at least it was supposed to rain on the hills ALL week... this blows.

i went to up whistler yesterday

it wasnt bad at all! it was snowing pretty hard for most of the day but it started to warm up by the end... it's only -2 on top and 0 at the bottom.. theyve had 14cm of snow the past 2 days i hope it keeps up. they definetly need more snow its been pretty shitty this year

it won't be too expensive, we're gonna go for the cheapest possible (within reason of course, we don't want a shithole) and hopefully riding/accommodation shouldn't go more than $200... preferably slightly cheaper but we'll see what happens.

feel free to round up anybody you know that might wanna come too (aka your beginner types)... but don't worry bout holding us back or anything, that's not really an issue. It will be super happy double turbo fun, but let us know sooner than later cuz we wanna book somethin soon - especially with the shitty season down here there's probably lots of peeps heading up there now.

Some friends and I did an early season Big White Trip. There were 10 of us and for 2 rooms for 2 nights and 2 days of riding we each payed $140. We got low end accomadations and they were very comfortable.

I'm not sure what the prices are at right now but there's definitely strength in numbers... so if you need an extra person for a Big White trip I'm in.

I went to Big White and Silverstar a couple of weeks ago.

It was amazing there. The snow was like soft butter.

Sucks to snowboard here on the coast. I wanna go back.

Big White, Silver Star and Sun Peaks all got tons of rain today so there goes the interiors snow now too. Shitty now you got to drive into the kootneys for any decent conditions, all the local mountains are closed again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
