Fuckin Hot Water Tanks!!!!!!

Well its 1:45am and I was sittin in my room (which is in the basement) listening to some tunes and all of a sudden I hear a lilttle boom and a loud hiss, I get up out of my chair and run over to see where the loud hiss is coming from, I look over at the hot water tank and its leaking water from the top and the bottom all onto my cement floor. I quickly move assorted boxes and misc shit out of the way grab like a shitload of towels and put them on the floor to stop it from leaking and then grabbed my flashlight (since its dark back where it is) and try to find the knob to turn it off. I shut it off, watched the rest of the water leak out of tank a little bit, mop it up and now im sitting here lookin in the yellow pages for a plumber or someone I can to get him/her here in the morning, fuck.

Anyone know how much hot water tanks go for, fuck I dont even want to know!!! And for it to be installed, FUCK! Here goes some money me and my mom dont have, thank god for my NON-used visa card. FUCK.

Okay im done now.
Anyone have any advice, or any ideas or ANYTHING lemme know.

same happend to my dads hot water tank
i think it put him back about 200

ill ask where he got his from 2morrow:)

thank you, im glad i was able to turn it off or I wasnt out of the house when it happened and came home to a nice wet basement floor.

I looked in the yellow pages a few places were 24/7 service, but its off and im good, so ill call them in the morning. Hopefully we dont need a new one, but by the sounds of it, I think we might, blah.

Shit man that sucks.........I kinda know how you feel.....I used to live on a farm house and ever time the power went out we had to bail water from this pump in our basement so it wouldn'e flood
