:239: why are they allowed to sell dogs! why!... i went in a pet store today because i was bored and i had to kill time.. sooo im looking around and i see the cutest dogs! then i realize wow, one keeps shaking.. and another keeps licking its empty bowl. i really want to buy them all and make them happy!

one time I saw a really really sad pug at a petstore. He was a little sad puppy that kept hiding his face under his food dish.

Now I normally don't care for people, but I get a soft spot for animals. I soo almost made off with the lil guy in my purse.

I hate going to Petland in Langley/Surrey all the puppies are in the smallest possible cages with wire bottoms with a towel thrown in. It's sad.

Fucking uncaring pricks! They should be put in cages with little/no food and mistreated as they are mistreating these poor innocent animals! I don't get it! Why??? For money?? Selfish bastards! This hurts my heart :(

I hate seeing dogs and cats in cages ... specially when you can't pet them ...
I mean how would anyone else feel being behind a glass wall or a metal cage ?
Or how bout walking on a metal cage :(
makes me sad I say, maybe i can get a job at a pet shop so i can make a difference for at least a few animals :D

humans should be stuffed in boxes for a whole year like animals are before ever being allowed to own any type of animal....that way some wouldnt treat them as they do....

yeah..i don't agree with pet shops...i don't agree with the spca either...poor pets..it breaks my heart to go into places like that..~

yeah SPCA does suck...
That's why i joined a local pet rescue
(called the chilliwack animal safe haven)
instead of giving money to SPCA
made me feel better about muhself :D

if i were rich i would buy all the puppies in that store and find homes for them myself! heh i would feel soooo good.

There were the cutest little lhasa apso puppies in the window of the pet store in Richmond Centre yesterday.
I wanted to steal them and take them home!!

I think I know what kinda puppy I want!

What’s worse than pet stores is where the puppies are coming from 99% of the time - puppy mills. I won't get into it as I'm at work and don't want to be bawling my eyes out all day, but the cruelty and inhumane conditions those animals have to endure every day of their lives, is actually worse than the conditions of the pet stores .... because its behind closed doors. Infortunately puppy's from pet stores often have major health problems, medical care is not properly given - I could go on and on. :(

awwwwe i saw the 2 cutest lil puppies in a pet store yesterday, both in one cage, like the size of the cages at the spca. I wanted them so bad. To bad the were $800 each

Awhh thats soo sad, I wish they werent allowed to do that ( cram animals into little cages) it makes me soo sad when i see puppies who look sad

the one by where I work is horrible. I was in there once trying to get some fish food and there was this couple looking at a pug. the bf didn't want it cause it was small, but he said it looked mean. the woman that worked there said "oh it will get much bigger" the bf muttered something about training it to be meaner and the stupid woman just went along with it. I was so pissed, I almost kicked her in the shins.
