Hospital Visits

After two days of pain which is now unbareful, after all the medical potions that I could think of... I finally gave in and visited the cold waiting room of St. Paul's hospital.

Diagnosis: Ripped thoracic muscle of the mid right rib region.

Treatment: Tylenol #3 and a big ass sling for at least a week.

ARGH!

ouuuch. wierd how the pain ended up as a muscle tear

damn i remember when i went to the st pauls emergnecy when i shattered my ankle.... the place was packed and there were probably around 3-5 nurses for the entire ward. just brutal. it took so long to get the nursese attention for more pain killers

ubc emergency isn't anywhere near as bad

and going to clinics is hella annoying... always end up having to wait for at least an hour to see a doctor

OHHH clinics are my enemy!! I hate them... Last time I went to one the lady didnt call me and we ended up waitin an extra 45 mins cuz she said she thought I had left and didnt call me...

I'm fairly sure that UBC isn't a full emergency any more -- they changed it to some urgent care thing. You right though, it isn't near as bad, mostly elderly.

Sitting at home with things to do at work really bites. Not the same as playing hooky, let me tell ya. I'm sure my boss wouldn't be too impressed with me walking into the hospital with just a bra on, eh?
