^ When I got my first hickey in high school I told my parents that I had a temporary tattoo and tried to scrub it off too hard. They didn't buy it. Infact, they were really hurt I'd lied.

Hickeys are unaceptable in my line of work... I cannot have 6 year olds asking me what happened to my neck. I already have enough questions about my piercings and my tattoo.

However, hickeys that can be covered up (and no, I'm not talking about a scarf) that are somewhere other than neck/upper collar bone, are kinda sexy. They should be in a place that can't be seen when you're wearing everyday clothes.
