stupid ass work

everyone that worked on last wednesday at my work got written up due to a "lack of performance"... see, and I'm pissed off because it wasn't everyone's fault... there were a couple people in particular slacking off more than normal and everyone had to pick up were they left behind... it sucks because I've been disciplined even though I got forced into a position where I had to do another person's work because they can't do they're job efficiently enough... not just me, but EVERYONE...

superstore... disassembling skids in their isles and then selving... its really not that hard, and if you do your job efficiently you don't have to break your back... and yet, still, people seem to not get shit done, and in part, leave it for those that do know how to do they're job...

superstore fucking sucks... if you work hard and get shit done eariler than expected, you get more work, and the people that fuck around get their work done for them... they reward stupidity...

Hmm... I do the same thing for Safeway (word to the night crews of mega grocery stores!).

Funny thing, though, is the crew I work with is very effecient. It seems no matter how much shit we have to put out, we always get it done right on time. We've learned to manage our work rate so if there's a lot to get done, things are quickly and somewhat halfhazardly finished. On the other hand, if there's not quite as much to get done, there's a lot more picking and meticulous stacking. It all balances out.

Perhaps I'm just lucky. =P
