wanting smokes, then having no one sell one to you

so ive been on the im quiting im not quitting thing for a while now and i do my best at this. but everynow and then, usualy at school, i slip. yes i remeber how damned annoying it was when people would ask me for one but then id remeber other tiemso f not having them and share my wealth. today at school (douglas college) i asked several people, offering to pay and they all said they had none, which is fair enough. except for the oone kid i saw open up his fresh pack whilst walking out the door.

i know its kinda rude of me to bitch and it is thre smokes, but im soooo in need and sooo dont want to buy a pack and start the habit again...

someone tell me how dumb i am and close the thread, that is all..

i totally hear ya.
im taking the same approach to quitting as you are.
its good that theyre denying you in a way though because thats one less smoke for you then and one step closer to quitting. (haha i know that sounds kinda corny but its true :) )
however i know how painful it can be when youre watching everyone else enjoy one.
and i dont like it when people lie and say they have none when they do.
just say no you cant have one. grrr. lol

That's what I do depending on the person... if I had previously asked to buy a smoke of that person and they said no and then they ask me I say no...why should I be nice and give them one of mine if they can't show me the same courtesy.

haha yea same. but depends on the person too. theres those people that ask and seem very mean about it like you have to give them 1. If they didnt offer to pay but they were extremly polite and ncie about it ill probably just end up giving them 1. this aint the olden days when i started when a pack was under $5, their almost double that now.

When i was a smoker i hated the people who always asked for one since they are so damn expensive.

If your gonna quit, quit. Don't fuck around. Sounds like you are still infatuated with the social part of smoking. Once you think of yourself as a non-smoker and stop those situations, and use something like the inhaler or the patch. Then you are gonna curb it.

the people i hate the most are the people who arnt fulltime smokers who never buy their own pack. they only smoke like a couple few a day but they always bum them. fucking cheapos
