My Bf's moving

I live in Abby, and he lives in Maple Ridge. So as it stands, it is a 40 min drive from his place to mine. (He usually drives out here a few times a week.)
But he's moving to coquitlam, which will just about double the distance. It will make the drive more like an hour and 15.
It might not seem like much, but it will most likely mean that he won't want to come out as much. (He has a car, I don't)
Have any of you guys ever had a long distance relationship? How did it turn out? I've never had one personally. My ex lived 20 min away....
I dunno...it just kinda sucks...he's coming over tomorrow so that we can talk about it....(He's moving on feb 1st)
Any suggestions on how to make it work? I really like him a lot, and don't want to have to break up with him or anything. I just don't know if only seeing him on weekends would cut it....

i wouldn't say my relationship is long distance, but i live at ubc and my boyfriend lives on bowen island (app. 45 minute drive/ 20 minute ferry ride) and we've seen each other almost every day for over 7 months.

Well, it's better you're in the same area code, and that in ways, it is possible to drive or use transit to see them.

Count your blessings he's not moving to the other side of the country or something.

Unless your boy drives like a pussy grandmother, the trip from Coquitlam to Abby should take no longer than 45 mins.

I get from Richmond to Abby in an hour and ten at the most!

My advice is to tell your boyfriend to learn to drive.
