What is going on here? Seriously, I thought this place was about formal parlance and using big words to scare the subliterates.

Shall we just keep it to standard formal paper rules? I mean, seriously, who would want someone to be cutting corners when lightly discussing things on the internet.

but when a body of text is filled with abbreviations it begins to look like a cheap classified ad.
and seriously, it take so little effort to type the whole three letter word.
