the birthday/adress book update ones are the worst. anyone who give out that info deserves to have their identities stolen. i get like three a week from people i know. sometimes mutiple invites from the same person

i think it asks for your hotmail account in order to finish the registration
then it will spam through your contact list...

yeah, it's automated. anyone who falls for it gives up there email account, full name , birthdate and address.

sometimes there are situations where sending a text message is quicker, easier, and more convenient than placing a call. and then sometimes people just like being completely impersonal OK
