Sounds like fun mapleleaf4ever. I didn't want to come across too harshly in my last post, but I get upset at people who think autococker owners are "spray and pray" type of players. Lots of them are I know, but my crew are all exceptional players, and most kills are within 1-2 shots... unless we are playing hardcore speedball, then the game changes, which changes the tactics. We play bush ball as well, and sometimes get camo'd up, but haven't done that for awhile. I'd like to one day buy a stock gun, they are supposed to be deadly accurate, they are pumps, and they hold 10 paintball clips.

Yo hardstylin, we should try to get a bunch of people to buy PGP handguns this year, and have a big handgun game $$$

dude paintball is teamwork.. in fact thats all it is just cause we like speed ball doesnt mean we dont use teamwork, in fact we probly use more, we dont need 2 way radios you make a game plan pregame and stick to it, you should already know ur lanes, and its all about communication. sounds to me like you dudes play like chicks get to a spot sit there all game and wait for someone to run out in the open :) and diesskei and I dont wear no mamby pamby black and white camo its dye head to toe :)

i've played in a speed ball tourny before...everyone was using angels, impulses, or intimdators....whta did i have....

man, i was kicking peoples asses, lol...i actually got "blamed" for apparently having my gun on 3-shot burst, which is a total pile of crap, its not my fault they sucked and i can shoot faster then they can.

lol not all sit around... you can use a couple as bait while you get a fireteam into position. I'm all about the mobile warfare. Sure sniping is fun but so is watching the confusion on a squads face when there are 4 different lanes of fire being layed into them from changing positions.

hah, i member 1 time i was playing bush-ball..and this "ex marine" guy was playing...FULL on army combats, guillie suit and everything...was hilarious...especially since he was in a bunker, hah, lets just say, it was pretty damn easy to sneak up on him

i've been hit with donuts before...was funny, cuz it was someone i knew(he didnt know it was me though) and then i got home changed my msn name "wtf was the point of throwing donuts, they werent even glazed/powdered"....they were just completely plain, thats a waste of a donut!

While it seems you've made a good comparison, it isn't. The paintball community has been worried for a long time about these sorts of actions. If the government deemed it a big enough threat there are lots of things they could do. I think one of the biggest deals would be if they put an age restriction on the purchasing of the products, and maybe even an age limit to play the sport. This would hurt the game in so many ways. A lot of people start playing paintball in the 13-17 year age range, and continue doing so for years after. The game would suffer a big loss if this group of players weren't able to legally play.

Those scenarios are only hypothetical, but there are a lot of other ways these actions hurt our game. Parents watch their TV's and a broadcast about a paintball attack comes on. Without even knowing what paintball is all about, they jump on the defense and start thinking paintball is bad. What does this mean for their children who may want to play?

The more people that play paintball, the better it is for the sport. Expansion is key, and has been for the last 20 years. But we can't do that if assholes keep running around and shooting random people on the street. It's not safe, and it creates bad publicity.
