Howard Hughes' story is a story that needs to be told, the man was brilliant. Also extremely tormented by mental illness. As much as I hate Leonardo Dicaprio, he did an outstanding job of portraying Hughes.

You're the first I've heard say it was bad. I personally really want to see this. Howard Hughes made amazing contributions to the Aviation Industry. Sure he was a little crazy, but you can't create some of the things he did without being a little odd.

I saw it last week, it was one of the better movies I've seen. I didn't like the idea of Leanardo Dicaprio in this but actually he's pretty good for the role. There's a lot of extra features stuff on the DVD you can watch after the movie.

Howard Huges stayed at the Bayshore Inn in Vancouver in the early 70's, renting 2 floors for quite a while, good story here:

I am fascinated by Howard Hughes, he lived a remarkable life. I didnt mind the movie but the woman who was cast as Katherine Hepburn was awful. It was so bad I might even say she was the most mis-cast actress Ive ever seen. Other than that I thought Leonardo Dicaprio did a pretty good job, its a hard part to take and I think he portrayed it very well. I liked watching it but I dont think Ill watch it again, I give it 7 out of 10.

Howard Hughes life fascinates me. he was a genius.

The Aviator was a HORRIBLE MOVIE. I would rather watch a documentary than that dribble. Atleast in documentaries it is nothing but the story, usually all facts and truth.

I can't believe this but I'm going to actually side with Jimbo here. Hughes was at one time the richest man in the world, but not only that he's great mind help move society forward (film industry, flying, hygene lol).

Great people need to be remembered, that's why we have this movie...it was a great story. Hughes was one crazy mofo!

Yeah, I guess that is why that actress won the oscar for doing such an awful job :P

She actually did do an amazing job of portraying Hepburn. She really was a strange and larger than life woman. I love her work though (favorite movie with her is probably stage door)
