This summer thus far

This has got to be the worst summer I can remember in recent years. Usually in May the spring is in full effect and you get some sunshine which carries to June and by July its in full effect. This year has been pretty wack. Temperature wise it hasn't been cold or anything but the amount of sun this year has been pretty low. ah wells it better start kicking in really soon =(

i'd rather have this weather. if it was super hot already, the interior would have a million forest fires.

2 weeks of sunshine and everyone will forget that it was mediocre these past few weeks.

every year june and the first part of july has been shitty, we've been rewarded with an awesome late july and august and even into september (mmmmm...late summer)


trust me, there has been years where the weather lacked this bad, 2nasty on canada day 2000 comes to mind.

Yeah I'm on holidays now...and it's raining. It doesn't matter though cause my Grandmother passed away, and I have to go deal with everything that comes with a family passing. =[

Consider that if you go camping during this time you're allowed to have a campfire (y) and we are less likely to have strict water restrictions later in the summer! I don't mind rain as long as it's fairly warm!

i cant even make plans going to the beach cuz of the weather..

and MOST of all.. i wanna go camping already!! but imma wait til i know the weather is 100%

people in bc bitch when its too cold, too wet OR too hot. its getting pretty pathetic.
it's always the places with really extreme weather that you don't hear a word.

as long as the weekend of the 23rd isn't a down pour i'm happy.

besides, how often would you hear people bitching about being stuck inside at work if we do get a few gorgeous days. ALL THE TIME~!@#$

Every year the weather alternates between really good and really bad.

And every year people forget that it alternates.

This year is a La Nina. Next year will be another El Nino. It'll be better next year.

Just be thankful. If it keeps alternating at this rate we'll actually have snow for the Olympics.

I was just thinking this recently.. Although considering the air con @ work is broken I sometimes am glad that the weather is a little cooler, it doesn't feel as summery as it should be around this time of year, and it's already July.
