OUCHIE! My whole entire fuckin back is red and burnes...It's my first time getting this toasted EVER...:(

Anyone know how long it will take before it heals? Ain't bright red?

I just know I should put lotion especially aloevera type...Anyhing else?

I was putting on some Hawain Tropics tanning lotion/oil type stuff...But I guess I either didn't put enough or I layed down for to long? :(

1)stay OUT of the sun until you are healed.
2)cool showers will make it feel better
3)lotion! lotion! lotion! (aloe vera gel :y: )
4)don't use tan "enhancing" products again for awhile. if you want to tan, just slap on a light SPF of sunscreen and do it that way.(once you are no longer burnt mind you) YES it will take longer to get a bronzy looking tan, but it will reduce the risks of getting skin cancer.

for each person healing time really depends, your body may heal faster, you may peel, you may not. but if you are burnt as bad as you let on, be prepared to lose some skin.

my dad is like some kind of aligator. he burns so bad and doesnt peel at all. me on the other hand, out in the sun for 5 minutes and im pink. suuuuuucks.

I got a pretty nasty burn on my neck and shoulders from Warped Tour. Haha, you can even see where the ties for my shirt were as well as my bra straps- I have 2 white lines down the middle of my back and one by each shoulder.
I've been using this Cucumber Melon aloe vera gel- so soothing.

Hmmm, sounds like you shouldn't be using oil to help you tan, the sun is attracted to you enough. Next time, don't stay out in the sun that long. Moderate exposure will not burn you, but if you worship Madame Soleil, you're gonna feel the affects. I am lucky and don't burn, but you might want to buy some Vitamin E ointment, that's what my mom uses, it's meant for skin and it will help to heal the burn faster and keep it moisturized. Drink LOTS of water and stay outta the sun. And for goodness sakes, use sunscreen. It will take longer, but it will keep you more or less burn free. I use sunscreen and I don't burn, never have. It's just good practice! Hang in there, it will be gone in a couple days!

This may sound wierd but it works, put plain yogurt on it. My friend's dad was on a cruise and got really badly burned so he put yogurt on it and the pain went away. I guess the enzymes and all the good bacteria in yogurt help.
